As the baby boomer face what is certainly an inevitable retirement
This could be regular aliments, attrition or the downsizing department
Another too because they see that force of change as a disaster
Whilst there will be those who have gone home to the creator
As in all life's cycle there will be the parents of children
These will be the one most befitting labeled the generation of the Millennium
As they will be the ones born within an era fraught with a barrage of technology
So will acquire a mindset of complacency and that of innate simplicity
They too should also realize that in their world that job opportunity
Is pivotal on if there is that re-enforcement by having a college degree
Even then too, there is that competition of having to face an uncertain situation
That when the time is opportune the work can be outsourced to a cheaper destination
Such a situation can only tend to create such hardships and lots of pain
Because that retired parent they, and the education loan to maintain
And it seem some tend to look as some employment with a degree of disdain
Especially if they get underemployed functioning in position for which they were not trained
This generation and technology seem to have special relationship
Their affiliation and attraction seem to be one that is like a magnet
Because if there is one see you will see how that attention get so focused on it
And your presence seem on their radar not even creating the faintest blip
But what is amazing with all that apparent never ceasing attention
An area where there is such an access to a wide range of information
As they a question about the history even what happened in their country last week
They may look at you so puzzled, as though you may be speaking Latin or old Greek
The boomer and the Millennium's child should come to understand
Though they were from different sides of the spectrum as it expand
They for any form of balancing the scales should give each other a hand
Because it is only by the merging of those two worlds can we fulfill that plan?
