Her Reflection
She is aware of the beauty that surrounds her
The birds, bees, flowers, and trees
She sees the beauty in others
The beauty inside of herself, she can never see
As she gazes upon her reflection
In the rippling rushing waters
She seeks perfection
In her reflection, she sees only flaws
As she ponders on what lies beyond
She feels that she has not met her expectations
She searches for answers that she may never find
As she sees nothing but pure beauty in nature
There is no rhyme or rhythm
She feels that time is fleeting
Like sand in the hourglass
As through out the ages, her outer beauty will fade
She reflects on where she is going
Not on where she has been
