WHERE'S THE RELIEF????©
Each day brings a new concern
and a flood of tears,
when will it be my turn
to join in the celebration and cheers?
The celebration i can cheer about
and once again feel the sunshine,
such glow i will tout
when he's in these arms of mine.
Each time i go to sleep
i Hope it's the last,
i have Faith final death will creep
i would Love to have Peace cast.
I can't take much more
of being here too much to bear,
i long for that knock at my door
and Mercy to be the visitor there.
To be put out of my misery
i hope that time will soon dawn,
maybe the so called easter bunny
will drive a hearse up on my lawn.
I don't want candy or flowers
cause My Special Somebunny isn't here to present them,
i just want to see my final earthly hours
i wanna be tickled by the kiss of Heaven.
What i want in my easter basket
is soft and melts in my heart so warm,
just the perfect magic bit
for my aching arms to transform!
