Astonished Rocks Scatter Like Fragrant StarsA spread of dandruff. Astonished rocks scatter like fragrant stars winking in the atmosphere. Helpless to change a thing. Evoke every memorial that demonstrates you. Splashing water on face. Shaving away the hair. Man stuff. Flabbergasted pebbles sprinkled like pomegranates littering the hemisphere. Serenity a puzzle. A declaration that means something, but nothing to me. Each squirming arrogance corresponds to all the gibberish falling like lice from my edge. You asked me once what pigment I would like. I see again the face that pondered the question. I did not answer at the time. I will not answer now. Rather, I'd reasonably expect you to feel the same. A spread of dandruff. Astonished rocks scatter like fragrant stars winking in the atmosphere. Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
