~*~ Become a Blissful Person ~*~

Supreme Ruler is a Blissful Person
Untouched by misery, actions, results
And passions; in him becomes infinite
That all-knowingness which in others is
Only a germ. He is the teacher of even
The ancient teachers, being not limited
By time. His manifestation is OM and
Repetition of this OM and meditation
On its meaning destroys obstructions
On the way of our enlightenment!

There are diseases, laziness, doubt
Lethargy, lack of enthusiasm, clinging
To sensual enjoyments and not attaining
Concentration and falling away from the
State when obtained -such obstructions
Cause grief, distress, tremors of body,
And irregular breathing accompanied
By non-retention of concentration!

To remedy this -practice one subject like
Friendship, mercy, gladness, dispassion,
Help or service without expecting return
Then pacify the mind stuff. Concentration on
One subject causes perseverance of mind;
By throwing out and restraining the breath
Or by meditation upon the effulgent light
That's beyond all sorrow; or by meditation
On the heart that has given up attachment
On the sense objects; or by meditating
On the knowledge that comes in sleep;
Or by concentration on any thing that
Appeals to one as good, the yogi's mind
Thus by meditatation becomes unobstructed
From atomic to the sky of infinite consciousness
When the mind is stilled and firmly fixed
On such consciousness it enters the trance!

The knowledge in that is filled with truth
The resulting impression from blissful trance
Obstructs all the worldly impressions.
All being restrained then comes the seedless
Nirvana. That yogi becomes the Lord of his mind
And body and he becomes the Lord of Universe!
