I have these eyes windows to another world
Windows into the heart of me
Windows to the soul
Fierce eyes that to most seem so certain of there every move
Look deep into my eyes see the truth
Shaken Look now ive rattled your cage
Taunting you with truth these eyes so bold
I know you see there is something more
Pain masked by a smile truth told by mine eyes
I want to know more thirst unquenched again
These eyes windows into another world
Are you strong enough to hold a gaze into these eyes
I quickly turn and look away
As if to say i can tell your trying to read my soul
Scared tattered broken and bruised do i want you to see that truth
Can you tell by looking into my eyes that i am falling
I want to find the break and stop the madness
Can you see this in my eyes so afraid
Im alive this i know your eyes keep telling me so
You want to know more and your starting to fall too
Both broken battered and bruised
How you ask do i know so well the pain you hide
Why would I understand just by a few spoken words
Looking into your eyes i see deep in your soul
I have been there not long ago
I took that same vow that you too are breaking now
Never to know love again mask my heart and hide
Your falling too I can see it in your eyes
Scared and unsure we continue to do this dance
Can you see into my soul are you reading my eyes
send yet another shiver down my spine
your arms feel safe alot like home
I want you more with each passing day
Look into my eyes tell me this is really true
Tell me again that I am breaking through
I laugh a little more every time i discover we are one in the same
Two souls conected both have felt that pain
I look away to be drawn back when you look in my eyes
Can you see the things i hold so deep inside
I wonder if you know if you can read my soul as i can yours looking into my eyes
A gift or a curse you only are beginning to see
I want to know more Tell me how just looking in your eyes
