I’DO

I ‘do, you do, .I just do,
 you just can’t say I’do,
know what I mean.

Why not, you do it
all the time. I do not. Do so,
heard you the other day saying I do.

That was me marrying yer one.
You have to say I’ do, when you get married.
Oh, whys that, I don’t know you just do.

Okay here we have a lot of punters saying I do
Then they’re married, seems daft to me to say I ‘do.
What would you say, hey you, wanna marry me.

Yeah, sounds better than that nonsense I’do.
You say I’do, she says I’do, then she stays
in the house and you stand in the pub.

The barman says you want a pint you say I do.
That’s married life, really, that’s it, you get to
Drink pints all day, and when you go home she
asks do you want yer dinner, you say I’do.
