Brotherly Love Within
We must love each other,
Like sister and brother;
Because love comes from God,
Who we honor and laud.
Each of us, who has love,
Is born from God above;
Not only loves but knows,
Just how God inside grows.
But if you do not love,
You know not God thereof;
And truth is not within,
Since you are full of sin.
His love that God has shown,
In Heaven on His throne;
And sent His only Son,
For getting the job done.
His plan had been unfurled,
Sending Him to the world;
Not for Him to condemn,
But showing He loved them.
No longer to feel grim,
For life is now through Him;
If we know and believe,
Then new life we receive.
Those who love as they live,
God is just to forgive;
For He sees them as kin,
As He too lives within.
