Disavow Deceit
I am not discouraged,
Since God has shown mercy;
But I feel encouraged,
From the controversy.
I have no shameful ways,
And I will use no tricks;
For on your mind that plays,
That a magician picks.
I do not twist the Word,
Always reveal the truth;
Not like what you have heard,
Though maybe sounds uncouth.
The Good News that we tell,
Gives you a distinct choice;
Either Heaven or hell,
To suffer or rejoice.
Some cover with a veil,
Hide from the ones dying;
Leaving out some detail,
Finding themselves lying.
This world does blind the mind,
If you do not believe;
And unable to bind,
If they do not receive.
So they must see the light,
What is in the Good News;
For favor in His sight,
Depending how you choose.
