Your Blissful Soul
On the sixth cycle of waxing Moon
I meditate on Goddess Sri Lalita, who
Assumes the form of Vajreswari!

I bow to Vajreswari, the Lady on a Golden Boat
Whose beauty defeats the pride of Aphrodite
Who is the Queen of life on the ocean of blood
Who has four arms, three eyes, whose color
Is red, whose robes are red, who is wearing
A crown of rubies, who is adorned with red
Jewels and red flowers, who sits on a throne
On a golden boat which floats on the sparkling
Waves blood, and who holds a noose, a goad,
A bow of sugar cane, and flowering arrows, and
Who is surrounded by a host of similar deities
On rafts swaying while she is smiling mercifully!

O Vajreswari, O Goddess of great enjoyment!
Without Your consent none can be ferried across
The ocean of existence,O Lady of Diamond bliss!
You are the One who causes love and passions
You are the One who creates ripples of emotions
O Lady of supreme bliss who causes flowering
And fruits of life in the wombs of creation
You are the One who opens the doors of Heaven!
O Knower of the things born, I offer Thee a Hymn,
I sought Thee with adoration O Sweet Lady,
Spread a seat of love in Your golden boat, and
Allow me to listen to Your song of illumination!
