It's hard being perfect
I tried it once for fifteen minutes
And gave up

You send the kids outside to play
If they get hurt
You tell them to go tell Grandma
The Petticoat Dictator has caught on
For a while giving them a quarter worked
Now it is an x-box game
Real hurts have to be bandaged
The latest thing is Ryan wanted to play catch
I can't bend my index finger
That's the one I use to do real work
Like holding the mouse to do poetry
So I have to do it with my nose
It's really hard to see what I am writing
As you get older it is hard to be perfect
Especially after prompt 13 and I am
taking up art painting with my nose
The good news it is allergy season
