Just Steer
This action can be considered a factor in one's life's plan
That some people's course was charted by the child fathering the man
As this can be obvious by a certain pattern exhibited in that culture
That can clearly demonstrated what maybe the outcome of the future
Being blessed with someone close who can be that early mentor
Whose kind words and gentle steering can make things a bit easier
Since being one considered to be blessed with some form of experience
Hence could impart some substance that can be of such significance
So in that effort to perfuse those young impressionable minds
There is that need to exercise some care and patience at times
As it is that manner of teaching which may have that impact
So tread cautiously so as not to cause any derailment from the tract
Sometimes early they have to all extent make decision
As in that mind there is that fixation on a certain profession
How proud is the feeling seeing them do all the mental exercise
To ensure that the earlier dream is most certainly realize
Being that initial mentor make sure that you are around
To ensure that those feet are still planted on solid ground
And never in anyway create in them that feeling of dismay
As you are using this for some aspect of your life to replay
But we are now living an era fraught with so much distraction
And that culture of bullying is now causing some children great trepidation
So let it be a reflection of you as you entrench in them such strength
That nothing will stop that dream from going the real distance.
