Your Blissful Soul - * TVARITA, THE GODDESS OF QUICKNESS *-8

On the eighth cycle of waxing Moon
I meditate on Goddess Sri Lalita, who
Assumes the form of Tvarita!

I pray with word the blue colored Lady
Tvarita, who has all auspicious features,
Who is splendid in her freshness of Youth,
Who has lightning speed in her actions
Who appears like a lightning flash and
Who is accompanied by Her two Shaktis
The ladies of conquering and of victory!

O Tvarita, O Goddess of Quickness,
Who is shining with the moon like face,
With lotus like three eyes and with four arms,
Who is wearing four pairs of great serpents
As her shining ornaments, such as earrings
Bangles, girdles, shoulderlets and anklets,
As representations of four classes of men,
And who is always clad in shoots of leaves
As her garments, and who wears a golden
Crown setin with a lustrous ruby, adorned
With pretty looking peacock feathers, and
Whose garlands are strings of gunja-berries;
I worship Thee for attainment of desired
Fruit as You are the Lady of Quickness
Who grants fame, learning, wealth, health,
And happiness to the devotees!

O Goddess, You are dancing like a peacock
In the garden of lightnings in the minds
Of great sages; while You are dancing
With Shiva, Your beauty resembled
The waves Of milk ocean and the pearls
Of sweat dropped from Your lotus like face
And form the swells of Your breasts
Smeared with sandal paste and kumkum,
Are falling like seeds of light upon my head
Causing me heavenly delight;
How lucky am I, Your devotee!
