THE COLOR OF MUSIC

Picasso touched a canvas
And a melody brushed on.
But only those with souls that see
Can recognize the song.

Picasso was a master…
Quite flamboyant in his art.
But each God given talent
Has to travel through the heart.

One must have a heart for painting
For poetry or for music.
Talent is a gift of God
To those He’s blessed to use it.

 Indeed, He is an artist
Also flamboyant as we’ve seen…
Considering the contrast
Of skies of blue and grass of green.

Ah-h, but He created beauty
And this beauty He’s passed to
Every last would be Picasso
And to the likes of me and you.

You are our Father,
We are the clay, and you are our potter,
And all we are the work of Your hand.”

Also He has put eternity in their hearts…”
Ecclesiastes 3:11

“He has filled them with skill to do all
manner of work of the engraver and the
designer and the tapestry maker, in blue
and purple and scarlet and fine linen, and of the
weaver—those who do every work and those
who design artistic works.”
Exodus 35:35

“Then David and all Israel played music
before God with all their might, with singing
on harps, on stringed instruments, on
tambourines, on cymbals, and with trumpets.”
