Time for Growth
Each one is corrupted within,
Because everyone does sin;
So all of us live sinful lives,
As deep inside corruption thrives.
For everyone disobeys,
While being tempted whence strays;
Then you build will your confidence,
Increasing disobedience.
Jesus Christ came to take away,
The sins when you have gone astray;
He came and left completely pure,
Leaving behind your righteous cure.
If you are cured you are winning,
Since you are no longer sinning;
For Christ is living within you,
Helping in all you say and do.
But if you continue sinning,
Then you are not disciplining;
Yourself in a righteous manner,
Having the cross as your banner.
For you have not seen or know Christ,
Unsure why He was sacrificed;
While you think thoughts of evil,
Being controlled by the devil.
But being a child of God,
You have been cleansed where you are flawed;
And all who will do what is right,
Lives in Christ and also the light.
