 Penniluck's legacy

You Got My Mail

I write this letter with trepidation, will it reach its destination.
Are you there somewhere beyond this earth, is there rebirth,
A heaven where you`ll smile and look at me once more with love,
from up above the clouds through space and time.
Or are these words of mine returned address unknown.

Yet inside I feel you`re beating heart a part of me.
I smell your scent, rent through the air and hear your voice.
What choice have I but to believe along the path that you have trod
The earthly sod will hold my bones, my spirit free, and you and me
shall meet again, and then so sweet I`ll taste your touch,

I`ll know the postman did not fail.
Such tales are true you got the mail I sent to you.
