Promises of Life
Blessed are those who fear the Lord,
And His teachings are not ignored;
The ones who delight and obey,
His commandments every day.
His children will grow strong on earth,
Be fruitful and increase in birth;
The family blessed with good health,
And prosper with riches and wealth.
His righteousness is forever,
And harmony will not sever;
For the light will shine in the dark,
Brightens paths where he will embark.
The Lord is merciful and fair,
And listens to every prayer;
For His compassion and His grace,
Comfort sorrow and will embrace.
Bless the one, who willingly lends,
A generous hand he extends;
Always earns an honest living,
Compassionate and forgiving.
The righteous always remembered,
Never fails to follow the Word;
His heart is remaining secure,
Full of confidence being pure.
His heart is steady with no fear,
Knowing that God is always near;
Being triumphant over foes,
As God handles the cares and woes.
