Tommy and Rita are moving away
For us it will be a very sad day,
Although their move is not far away
They`re still leaving here to our dismay.

A nicer couple you will never meet
They are helpful, kind and very discreet,
So cheerful and jolly and full of fun
Young hearts round here they have won.
Tommy liked to play football on the field
He`d play any position even midfield,
Everyone cheered when he scored a goal
The kids loved him their hearts he stole.

One Xmas eve when I opened the door
Little Andrew and Jen were so in awe,
For whom do you think was standing there?
Tommy dressed as Father Xmas I declare.
These are the memories we will hold dear
As we wave them goodbye and shed a tear,
To Tommy and Rita we wish you adieu
It will be empty here without either of you.

It`s the end of an era I`m sad to say
Simply because you are moving away,
All the luck in the world is wished for you
