 Kazoo

I am no good at all when playing the flute, it's true!
A violin is an instrument of destruction in my hands,
But you should see and hear me on the kazoo!
I'm as good as anyone in any high school band..........

The kazoo is such a difficult instrument to master!
Much more sophisticated than a harp or lyre.
Especially for someone who is a mere poetaster,
Who made it to the first step but can't climb any higher.....

But put a kazoo in my hands, I'll play to beat the band.
From hole to hole my fumbling fingers are fairly flying.
Who knows? Maybe I'm the best kazoo player in the land,
Sending all the delicate ladies into swooning or sighing....

I'm no good at the piano, whether it be Spinet or Grand.
A clarinet or  a bassoon is a deep dark mystery to me.
...This diatribe is going on much longer than I planned,
So I'll end it right here with a sweet kazoo melody.....
