Your Blissful Soul
On the Tenth cycle of waxing Moon
I meditate on Goddess Sri Lalita, who
Assumes the form of Nitya,the eternal! -

I bow to Nitya, the Goddess eternal,
Who is resplendent like the rising Sun
Splendid in red silken garments, wearing
Ornaments, shining with six lotus like faces
Who has three eyes in every face, and
Who has twelve arms holding various
Weapons along with a skull and a lotus
With gestures of fearlessness and boon
Giving, and who should be meditated upon
With great concentration!

O Nitya, O Lady of Consciousness!
You are the knower of the field,the human body
You are ever alert to destroy demonic thoughts
And to sow the seeds of light in human hearts!
You are the Queen of shaktis who control
The seven constituent elements of human body
Such as flesh, blood,fat, bone, marrow, semen
And skin; when You are prayed with devotion
You are giving health and consciousness divine!
You are the One who imparts life to the bodies,
You are the One who heals the wounds of life!
You are the One who causes spiritual awakening
While carrying the message of Vedas!
You are the Holy One who inspires the man
To see the divine light within.O Mother,
Be pleased to grant us wisdom divine!
