This is a wonderful picture of peace to me
Alone with God sitting under a tree
Reading His word while surrounded by nature
Like the tree rooted and grounded to grow to fully mature

There's seeds to be watered in Your Holy Word
Meditating on the scriptures the Apostles and Prophets heard
There's treasures to be found in Your Holy Book
For all the answers of life's questions we need only look

Being alone in Your Word is my most precious time
Bringing strength to me as it renews my mind
It's in it Your truth and love I always find
Scriptures I've read before you'll often shine a light

No doubt the enemy would love to keep me in the dark
With each illumination into my heart You impart
Your presence is so real I know you'll never depart
Praise you Lord Jesus for coming into my heart

Nothing will You withhold from those that love You
My only heart's desire is for others to know You too
I see and hear people in pain and hurting knowing you
are the only answer to help them through
Knowing the enemy wants to deceive them
I lift them up in prayer to You

Help me Lord Jesus to only do what I'm called to do
Help me to be sensitive to the Spirit of God sent from You
My heart is heavy for so many I love have become more distant
Yet I know what Your word says that You came unto your
own and they knew you not
And truly I am not greater than My Master and things
You suffered I will too no doubt

Joshua 1:8
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth;
but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest
observe to do according to all that is written therein:
for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous,
 and then thou shalt have good success.

Rom.10:
 8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth,
 and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth
on him shall not be ashamed.

 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and
the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto
all that call upon him.

 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the
Lord shall be saved.

 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have
not believed? and how shall they believe in him of
whom they have not heard? and how shall they
hear without a preacher?

 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent?
as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them
that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad
tidings of good things!
