Waiting Room...
Circular treading -
waiting room - slow -
turning and slipping -
always on hold...
Forced by the others -
losing all choice -
feeling half hollow
and never quite real...
Waiting and ready -
packed and prepared -
this way - or that way -
this year or next...
Not your own person -
never in charge -
pulled at all edges -
stretched by the wait...
Thinning in tension -
sighing inside -
Treading in circles -
waiting-room-life...
