One So Special
Another year has just rush by and it seems like an hour
That we celebrated this special day for a special person named mother
This lady blessed with such caring and has that innate desire
To ensure that you have a life that is not compounded by bother
In those young eyes she is seen as though she can work a miracle
As she can make that hovel into something bigger than a castle
And no matter what there is no other place that seems a fortress
That you can lay down and in such comfort have a pleasing rest
A femme a person in all the world seem so extraordinaire
Whose dedication and strength is there to certainly revere
And throughout time this feeling will no doubt always persevere
Because no matter how far you drop she is the one who will be there
In retrospect how with tear filled eye you certainly appreciate the value
Of those things in her ways she tried to make sure that you do
Because now looking at the road that many of those friend past
It was good that she had the strength not to give up but held fast
How lovingly you look at her and seeing those hair now turning gray
You will most certainly reflect on those many pains she bear
As she at times felt your moments of hurt, anxiety and shame
How her love like that solid rock never for one moment wane
Many of us at all time do pay homage to that lady name mother
Because no matter what that umbilical cord never got sever
Who despite the state of her health, the odds against you, never surrendered
That love so unconditional nothing on earth will ever rerouted
How happy is the feeling to see that look of joy in her eyes
Knowing that you have not strayed and so your dream was able to realize
As she saw that growth and that determination no matter how often you fell
Now you can on this special day let your profound appreciation willingly tell.
