NEELAPATAKA
On the eleventh cycle of waxing Moon
I meditate on Goddess Sri Lalita, who
Assumes the form of Neelapataka!
~*~
Salutations to Goddess Neelapataka,
The Lady who has a lustrous blue banner,
Who has five lotus like faces and ten hands
Whose smiles are beaming the moonshine
Who is shining in red silken garments,
And adorned with resplendent ornaments,
Of precious jewels, pearls and diamonds,
Who is holding various shining weapons,
And who is seated on a lotus throne,
Surrounded by hosts of similar energies,
Served by beautiful Yakshinis and servants
Who guard the treasures of divine wealth!
~*~
O Neelapataka! O Lustrous Blue Lady,
Who rules Yakshinis and lovely Nymphs
Of sixty four arts, demigods and Siddhas
You are the most wondrous Goddess
Of divine accomplishments, who grants
Great wealth, divine and magical powers
To devotees, including a shining sword
Unbeatable in battle, the secret treasures,
Power to see through walls of ignorance
The ability to travel thousands of miles
In a minute, and super human powers
Like vanishing and materialization!
You are the ruler of material vastness
You are the ruler of spiritual treasures
Holding a blue flame of Spiritual success
You are bestowing the fruits of penance!
O Goddess, I seek only Your blessings!
