We put poetry in pink balloons…
Filling them with all our love
Then tossed them to a blowing breeze
To carry them above.
There is one for Kathy’s Thomas.
Sending one to my sweet Ish.
Put one in for Sally’s Faron Pooh.
They all contain a wish.
We’re still wishing we could join them.
We miss them, oh, so much.
It’s hard to live down in this world
Without their loving touch.
Lifting one to Liny’s mother
And one to Sandy’s dad.
There’s another for Annette’s sweet Milt
And the son that left her sad.
We're launching one to Janie’s love
And the poet friends that she knew.
We've got one going to my Ginny…
God, I miss her so much, too.
And, last, but certainly not least…
He puts Heaven in our eyes!
We’ve got a pink balloon for Jesus…
Pink is coloring His skies!

Dedicated to Kathy, Janie, Sandy,
Liny, Sally, and Annette
"And I saw a new Heaven and a new earth,
for the first Heaven and the first earth had
passed away. Also there was no more sea.
Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem,
coming down out of Heaven from God, prepared
as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a loud voice from Heaven saying,
"Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and
He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people,
and God Himself will be with them and be their God.
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes,
there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying,
and there shall be no more pain, for the former things
have passed away"
Revelation 21:1-4
