My Favorite Song of the fifties
is indeed My Special Angel,
the 1 by Bobby Helms brought us to our knees
cause we became each others heart and soul.
To this day
i can't play that song,
cause Precious Faron no longer sings away
oh how i loved to hear him sing along.
But i still hear him sing it to me
how i long to dance in his arms to our tune,
such a celebration there's gonna be
when we hear it play and dance on the moon.
He'll bring me my tea most sweet
and i'll release balloons w/every color of the rainbow
there'll be wings on my feet
as flying off to him i'll go.
We'll again drink to happiness
and peace'll be known throughout the land,
then the long awaited embrace and kiss
2 special angels will dance....
cause that's what Heaven has planned!
