Harry Sweeden. My life in verse.

For now at least there will be a tomorrow

Dealing with disappointment has become an act well crafted
knowing now a quietening comfort that there will be a tomorrow where I might not fail?
and now when the rain clouds appear as always they do,
taking all the colour from my eyes and leaving me only shadows of a beauty I once knew
I no longer feel disappointed or condemned as once I did
I have learnt that disappointment comes in many forms but few will change my life
few will shine so bright as to deny me a vision of what the future might hold
so for now at least, there will be a tomorrow…
