Can't say He belongs to some one,
As He belongs to all and every one!
Can't say He dwells here and there
Because He exists every where!

Can't say how He behaves,
For He knows how to behave
As a father, as a mother,
As a son and as a daughter;
He is a kind hearted Sage
He is a hero and the Savior
He also becomes the destroyer;
According to His will He behaves!
Can't say He knows this thing, or
That thing as He knows all things!

No one is alien to Him
But He is alien to every one
He is the Supreme Soul within all.
He is the only One without a relation!
In Him there is Bliss Consciousness;
In the hearts of a few good people
She enters with the light of wisdom,
And tells us how to seek Her Lord!

Shiva, the Supreme Lord of all beings
Can not be caught by Sacred vows
Or Sacrifices; Neither our charities nor
Our penances would bring Him close;
But He is ready to embrace all beings
If they call Him with love and devotion!

Surrendering mind and heart, offering
Thoughts and actions as flowers to Him,
If a man Chants with faith, serves and learns;
Calls the Lord with pure love and devotion;
Only through such dedication a man attains
Shiva,the Lord of bliss in his own heart!
