PRAYER FOR A MAN WHO HAD A HEART ATTACK
You will survive
Miracles come as mesh arteries
They save many lives all the time
With artificial parts
I know you will be okay
If you got to the Emergency Room
Within the hour
I pray for you
Man I do not know
I pray you come home to someone
Besides your dog, cats, and birds
I pray you count to ten before
You blow
I pray you find faith in a higher power
Because faith can move mountains
As good as it can move the blood in your heart
Aspirin and prayer can save a lot of people
As well as poetry
Does it keep you feeling
Not bottled up like milk
In glass going sour
On the front porch
Used to do
Don't hold the feelings in
Pray constantly as God asks of us
I will do it for you now
Since you could be asleep
In some other place
I don't know
As I don't know you
But I want you to come back here
And write some poetry
As I missed it the first time
I am sorry
May God forgive me
God Bless you
Please let him live, O my Lord
He is a poet, too
Maybe he will write prayers
But if he doesn't
Keep him on Earth anyway, O Lord
I will cry now
I cannot help it
No one wants to die
With poetry still in their hearts
Let him be lead to the light of greatness
But not beyond
Maybe he has things to repent
Or confessions of sin to talk about to you
Please keep him here O Greatness in my soul
Lord of Lords
King of kings
Please hear my prayer for a man
Who had a heart attack
It is your will
When we get ill, if we live or die
God please show him the way
As I ask of you every moment
Of every day
Save him
Another poet
Thank you kindly
Yours blindly
As it should be
Let him live
Like you let me.
