An Invitation
The way of the Lord is unfair,
And I am actually aware;
What could maybe become of me?
Knowing all He does hear and see.
Is it not fairer with my way?
Having fun and some time to play;
Turning away from doing right,
And evil things during the night.
Righteous people will surely die,
Just telling one little white lie;
So it is better to have fun,
Through sinful things that can be done.
When wicked people turn away,
From the direction that they stray;
Will the Lord allow him to live?
If then confessed will God forgive?
By chance will the Lord still forsake?
From his past making a mistake;
So let us go and face the facts,
If the Lord hates rebellious acts.
That is why I judge each of you,
For the transgressions that you do;
Change the way that you act and think,
Use the righteous cup for to drink.
Turn away from corrupted sin,
And let His spirit come within;
Turn away from rebellious things,
For the rewards that God brings.
You get a new spirit and heart,
And with giving you a new start;
I know that the redeemer lives,
And blessing you as He forgives.
I want no one ever to die,
To be glad and never to cry;
So change the way you think and act,
And with God you can make a pact.
