Laying upon this large feather bed
With lots of feathers benieth my head
The symphony of rain upon this roof of tin
A breeze so pure to breath as it comes in
It's just after midday but it's gone all dark
As storm it thunders lightening leaving it mark
The curtains dancing as if in some talent show
Just as the strongest wind decides to blow
I lay half dozing as if to some what dream
Of other places in my life that I have been
The rain it falls in rythum from heavy to light
Within this rainy day time that seems like night
Relaxing so I dream some what still more
Of a place that I did once long ago did adore
The perfect day and time to go deeply within
And visit old memories all rugged up in daylight so dim.
