Since I was raised in my family
Things being then as they were-
My mother never loved my father
And my father simply adored her-
Since back then I've searched for peace of mind
And love that was real and very true-
I after all this time I've found it
And appreciate it I endlessly I do-
I am finally in a place hard to describe
Its as close to heaven upon earth as I've ever been
And here I shall remain for the rest of my life
After almost the entire earth I've known and seen-
I live right now in the Philippines
With my much loved soul mate and wife-
I experience all forms of real true love
Every day and never any pain or any strife-
They all here as Jesus asked us all to be
And personnel wealth comes very very last-
With little they do way so much more
And look forward with love and not the past-
I've lived my life with its ongoing confusion
As the teacher I admire most would have had me do-
I've done my best to pass his every test
And walk his line of teaching right through-
I feel within my heart that this is my reward
For a life I do not now in any way regret
As it all got me right to where I am
Deeply in real love and in peace of mind I'm set .
I now every day come what may
Show how deeply in heart I am so of peace of mind-
And every day I silently pray
And thank God for a life I've now left behind-
It got me to where I am right now
And I know I had to live that to appreciate this so-
And I am and always will be all I can
To give thanks and all my love to show-
One has to do ones learning before
One gets to know of life and the gifts from God above-
And university life it taught me well
I now know and possess real peace of mind and love –
