Confused Emotions

We were the happiest ever
No arguments
No pain
The perfect little couple
Now, here we are today
& that has all changed
No arguments has turned to arguments
No pain has turned into confusion
The attention I once held,
I feel I'm fighting to keep
The phone calls have now stopped
& the texting is barely there
I don't want to give up
But this all needs to change
Let's get back to where we were
& leave these confused emotions behind.
