"Consider the birds ...."

IN THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE

Just ahead of me is Heaven…
I’m just waiting to be moved.
Since Jesus is my Savior
I’ve already been approved.

Sealed with the Holy Spirit…
Found cleansed beneath the flood.
Logged in the Lamb’s Book of Life…
Perfect through the precious Blood!

Angels hold my reservation…
Transportation’s been arranged.
In the twinkling of a eye
My destination will be changed.

He’s prepared for me a mansion
With all the comforts I’ll require.
I’ll be provided every pleasure
My heart could possibly desire.

It’s His Word and I believe it!
I can hardly wait to meet
Every loved one I’ve been missing…
Every friend I’ve longed to greet.

Angels hold my reservation
Should I leave here please don’t cry.
I’ll stand at the Gates of Glory
In the twinkling of an eye.

I’ve so longed to see my Savior…
The One who gave His life for me.
I know He’ll outshine every presence!
Who could match His Majesty?!

While I can only just imagine
All the Heavenly highlights…
I foresee the face of Jesus
As exceeding all delights!

Angels hold my reservation
They’ll come for me by and by
I will make that brief transition
In the twinkling of an eye.

Dedicated to Nancy

In my Father's house are many mansions:
if it were not so, I would have told you.

I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:2

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard,
neither have entered into the heart of man,
the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1st Corinthians 2:9

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:
for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead
shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1st Corinthians 15:52
