JFK

In world war 11 President John Kennedy was shipper of a pt boat which was hit and sunk.
It was because of him not a man was lost.

Standing on the deck of that pt boat,
Seeing in the water his men float.
Looking across the ocean so wide,
his tears he wasn't able to hide.

Looking at only a few ways,
he could give lots and lots of more days.
To these men under his command,
And hope he could understand.

Some could only live,
while, others their lives to give.
Listening hearing all the yells,
Knowing each one had their, own living hell.

To lead our country into peace,
With truth he could ease.
Standing asking what we could do,
to make our country stand tall and true.
