When I am gone and tears begin to fall,
And you put me high on pedestal.
Reach up and take me down,that is not me.
I was only human don't you see.
I made mistakes,I shouted, raved and cried.
Do not make me perfect now I've died.
Remember all the good times through the years.
The fun we had and laughter,have no fears.
Life was often good,and sometimes bad,
But I am happy that I lived - be glad.
Do not remember me with angels' wings.
I was human and did human things.
`Though I never shook the earth with glory,
And many things I did have left me sorry.
For any hurt I caused you, please forgive.
I was human and as human lived.
Remember also you are human too,
Forgive yourselves for little wrongs you do
All I ask is that you love me still.
For my mistakes I paid my earthly bill.
But most of all remember through your tears.
I love you all so very much my dears.
No time `nor space will take that love away.
For I shall stay beside you every day.
