Shadows dance around me now

Shadows of your voice

You have found your pain free sleep

To let you go I have no choice

I wish only to hold your hand again

And walk with love unbound

But have to accept the truth

The way to heal you could not be found

I’m just a man who loves you

Not a sinner or a saint

Just a man who wants to look at you

And give artists what to paint

I pray that you'll be back again

Because without you there’s a hole

I fear I'll drown in tears

And the never ending rain

If I could I'd conjure up a magic touch

In the hope that could make you stay

I’d sit beside the bed continuously

But with no one there they would carry me away.

I think you’ve found the light by now

To your new life I let you go

I’ll just leave you with a kiss

That will have to do for now.
