Just cut the grass today

And collected Autumn leaves

Suddenly felt really good

And the leaves had this to say

Have you ever felt an Angel

You know, the ones who don’t have wings

The ones that stroke your body

Then kiss you so softly, your body begins to sing

Have you felt the fire warm you

Even though there is no flame

Have you ever touched somebody

And know they have felt the same

Have you suddenly stopped walking

And looked all around

And then seen a butterfly

Take off from the ground

Have you ever kissed the darkness

That held so many fears

Have you ever held out the cup

That will collect so many tears

Would you like to see an Angel

Would that make you believe

Or do you need a mirror

To tell you why to live
