Into the Blue (Part I) - The Beginning

Walking passed our bench today

I saw you sitting there

You had those blue trousers on

The one's I liked you to wear

Your hair tied back under scarf

And blouse puffed sleeved and flowered

The sweet scent of your perfume

My mind now empowered

It imagines for us a place

Where we can be as one

Our fantasies fulfilled

Interrupted by no one

Take my hand and join me

And imagine if you can

That standing just before us

A Blue not seen by man

It is not dark Blue

Neither is it light

It's not even in between

Nor the blackened Blue of night

It is Blue so pure

That light just rests upon it

Not wanting to be reflected

But simply to be part of it

It is the coolest Blue

But offers warmth the sun has yet to learn

And does not exist in time, only in our minds

And if our love stay true will forever burn

What lies beyond the Blue is anything we desire

We can be anywhere, any who and even any time

Lay waiting for us are our fantasies

The ones we could have had if Fate had not been so unkind

So with hands and breath held tight

Let us take those virgin steps

Let us walk into the Blue

And together explore it's hidden depths...
