FADED ROSE OF LOVE~**Prompt#19**~



A faded rose is so like a lovers goodbye
once so beautiful to a beholders eye
when left un attended it begins to die
 
 

Fading into the darkness of total neglect
a lost love one would like to forget
except for memories from sunrise to sunset



As faded petals begin to fall one by one
a lover knows when its time has come
to accept whatever has already been done



Pressed between pages in a book of thee
a faded rose of love will forever be
as a reminder for lonely lovers to see
