The Stage
The stage is black completely
Then a lone light shines on you
You stand there brim down toe tappin'
Wearing your best west side street blues
You tap dance all alone love
As the crowd begins to roar
You're on your knees
With your cane overhead
As you slide across the floor
And then your hand is reaching
To pull me by your side
We dance in perfect rhythm
We never break our stride
With twirls and leaps
A dip or two
We dance for all to see
The dancing that we're doing
Is making history
And now the dance is over
And the crowds have all gone home
And we are left to dancing
Together all alone
You twirl me round to dip me
And with your mouth untie my shirt
I know just what you want, Love
As I playfully hike up my skirt
You clap your hands
As you stomp your feet
And I wildly dance
As I circle your retreat
With pure anticipation
You take me to the floor
And the love that we are making
quiets all the ‘loves' before
For True Love don't come aknockin'
on everybody's door
And when it comes to yours Love
Ought you not at least explore
Your life is all I'm asking
And you're always free to go
For I will love you always
I want you happy and free to grow
You see my body's waiting
For you to plant the seed
For once that is accomplished
We truly will be freed
