Just Enjoying Jesus

Life can get hectic with time tearing past us…
Neglecting the moments meant only for Him.
We’re all in need of some time with the Savior
Not a purposeful visit but just on a whim!

How long has it been since we just enjoyed Jesus?
Without speaking a word or making a sound?
Just sat in the stillness to drink in His presence…
Simply purring in pleasure to have Him around.

Go with the notion to lay some love on Him…
Not asking for favors or anything more…
Just simply rejoicing that He’s our Redeemer…
Someone we admire, O, Someone we adore!

How long has it been since we bowed down before Him?
Or raised up our hands in subconscious arrest ?
Surrendered to beckoning calls of the Spirit
To lay our heads down on the sweet Savior’s breast?

If the world can ensnare us with multiple mayhem
In running its errands to meet its demands.
Then we must make time to make time for Jesus…
Just to sit at His feet and to hold to His hands.

How long has it been since we’ve bathe in His beauty?
Smelled of His sweetness or danced before Him?
Have we taken the time to show how we love Him?
Let us answer by noting how long it has been…

Revelation
3:20 Listen! I am standing at the door and knocking!
If anyone hears my voice and opens the door I will

come into his home and share a meal with him, and he with me.
