Dragon Slayer
There is a state of mind where dwells
A lesser thought that borders hell
Of self esteem, of love that needs
To show it's face, to intercede
There is but hope that fate collides
With this falsehood these constant lies
That holds hostage someone I know
As time has held seemingly so
You are more than words can spell
In kiss I tried to even tell
A flower more than you do know
In heart still mine forever grows
Absence came to know fonder
Much more than one begins to ponder
A state where peace holds to a hand
That makes complete a better man
You are a gem no less are you
A rarer find that completes two
If just this once my heart can leave
It's mark upon your tired sleeve
There are many that spew their words
But few hold truth but seek to stir
A soul distressed that bleeds with tears
Of lonliness and dance of fears
One day damsel will be no more
Distressed this word you heart has stored
Will be banished forever more
From pain that life on you has scored
A champion sails your way this day
Hold fast he comes and Dragons slays
