Into the Blue (Part IV) – Wonders in the Shade
Ha ha, I love it when you smile
And yes, there is more
I've never seen you so giddy
Let me enjoy it for a while
OK, OK, I know you want to see deeper in the Blue
It's just that it's been so long since I stood so close to you
Let us climb upon the Wolf our ferry to next port
Yes, of course he can carry us, remember here it is just thought.
It feels so heavenly, you holding tight on to my waist
I feel so young again and my shoulders have no weight
Please whisper something in my ear
I love the way it tickles and how my spine falls out of place.
The bag, oh that's for you
There are objects held inside
Seven to be exact, chosen just for you
To place among the Wonders, objects that you will hide
We're landing now, and before you stand the greats
Never seen together, in time or in one place
You can take objects from the bag now
I think they should be to your taste
There's no need to cry my love
The objects are no more than you deserve
There are few but you
That would truly know their worth
For me I wish to watch you place the objects where they belong
To again admire your grace with inhibition now long gone
Beckon the Wolf, for he will follow you now
And as you place each one he will bless them with spirit strong
Let us gaze upon her now, as she gives Flame to the Colossus and Sceptre unto Zeus
Sews first Seed in Babylonian Garden and to Alexandrian Lighthouse a Flare from sun
And engraved with the tree of life a Keystone for Artemis' Temple
A block of Limestone for the Pyramid and Marble for Mausoleum
She's laughing with the Wolf now
And spins in joy because of placements she has made
Her smile and inner beauty
Put the Wonders in the shade
We shall let her have her moment
Let her spin and laugh and shout
As it would be a waste of the sunlight
That moves towards her, halo bound
I'll leave a note here on the hilltop
The Wolf will show her where
And for next pleasure of the Blue
I will now go and prepare...
