Alot of girls wish they can pull it off
They always say how nice it is
Yet they don't have the confidence to pull it off
Nor did I until i designed my own
They cover their faces yet their bare feet showing
Whats the use and whats the point
All you girls who flip your hair and gloss your lips
Look at me wondering why i'm still walking happily
I don't dress up for anyone
I wear nice full sleeve, full length dresses, with my converse and vans
You wish you could pull it off like i do
I got my shiny hijaabs with my flower clips and there i go
I walk alot as my stress relief
If i got no friend i got my phone
alot of you think i'm weird and rich
A good contract phone is a savior
Or a good friend will call you
And even out the minutes that you have left
Take you charger whereever you go
That is you sorted out
I don't wanna be in sandles or in heels
i don't wanna be in pumps
You think i look so strange
Doctors tell me take off your THINGY
I said i beg your pardon she says she didn't want to offend me if she got the name wrong
So i said NO OFFENCE BE TAKEN TO DRESS DARLING coz technically thats what it is
Headscarf is said all the time and nobody is offended
Yet thingy made me wonder coz the tone she used was horrible and she didn't want to touch me
I requested a new doctor she took offence
Yet I stood and took it like a woman
My style and me is here to stay
Weight loss hadn't changed me its made me stronger than ever
I can wear trainers with an elegant dress and there we go
My feet are covered and everything else is too
I can show my face who said i had to hide it
The Quran says behind a veil it did not mean a cloth
It meant to disguise your most beautiful features which are hidden skin, midriff, legs, feet and arms and especially the hair
Not the face
We can show it with our two hands
SO WHAT IF I DON'T DRESS LIKE YOU
I'm still a worthy human being
We all dress differently from culture to culture and it doesn't make us any different to anybody else
We're All only human
WE PULL OFF DIFFERENT LOOKS AND DO IT WELL
