Smell My Hunger©
I dread summer coming again
can't share it with My Faron,
he loved this time of year so much
his bare legs and chest i can't touch!
I even cry when i smell summer in the air
it's too much for me to bear,
in fact it's hard to breathe all year thru
Oh Manny Boy Oh Manny Boy how i miss you!
Yes he was like a boy at times tho indeed a man
and without his ways to get thru the days....
i'll hold on as long as i can,
and 1 sweet day i'll just let go
but glad i met you all just so you know!
How i hunger for 2 years ago i can smell it
he was right across from where i sit,
only this time come the next summer
we'd be singing in the sunshine together!
(and year after year after year we'd both still be here)
I hope you don't forget me when sunshine comes along
and you remember how i spread it 4u when things went wrong,
oh how i wish i had bottled that sunshine
along with that Golden Boy Of Mine!
