Psalms c-3-7-23 24
The steps of a good man
are ordered by the Lord;
and he delighteth in his way
though he fall, he shall not
be utterly cast down for the Lord
upholdeth him with his hand

My daddy would say this prayer
every night at bed time
and we all would say it after him.
Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
If I should die before I wake
I pray the Lord my soul to take.
If I should live for other days
I pray the Lord to guide my ways
in Jesus name Amen

I remember he would say this in the
day time he taught us to say it
Our Father who art in heaven Hollowed be Thy name
thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
give us this day our daily bread, And forgive us our trespass
as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from evil; for thine is the Kingdom, and
the power, and glory, forever and ever Amen

Happy Father's day Daddy
It's been a long time since you left us but the memories never
go away. When I was very young you were my hero I am getting
old now daddy You and my mom are still my Hero's.
I still remember like it was yesterday when I was little you
made me a doll bedroom set in my mind I can still see it.
So many good memories come to mind I was very sick
with pneumonia fever and had to stay in bed for a long time.
I was to weak to set up and comb my hair I had long
blond hair and it was a mess. You laid me on the edge of the bed
and set in a chair beside me and combed one side of my
hair and plaited it. And the next day you did the other side
you would not let anyone cut my hair then we moved and lived
on a farm. When my mom broke her hip and in the hospital
you cooked and washed and ironed our clothes you took good
care of us.There were six of us children we went to school every
day very clean and neat. You made us chocolate candy but it wouldn't
get hard so you put it in a saucer and we ate it with a spoon
we didn't care it was so good because it was made with love.
Daddy do you remember the Stokley beans we were to grow for
the Stokley bean company. Who could forget the tow sack's full of
shelled out beans. My brothers and I planted beans until we just got
tired of planting beans. The more we planted it seemed the the more we
had to plant. We each had a bucket so we would fill it full of beans
when you were busy making the rows we would dig a hole in the middle of the
row and fill it full of beans and cover it up. We would take a bucket
full of beans into the woods and put them under rocks any where
we could hide beans we got rid of them.We didn't think about them
things coming up there were beans coming up between all the rows
beans sprouted out around all the rocks in the woods. I heard you
say to mama Gerty there are beans coming up every where there
are beans all over the woods. In between the rows growing around rocks
but we didn't get a whipping for it. I guess you thought it was kind of funny
but we had plenty of beans for the stocky bean company. Then we had all
them beans to pick that was almost as bad as planting them.I don't wont
to think about the cabbage we grow for the stockily bean company.
That's another father's day memory for a another time
You and mama worked hard for us there are so much more good
memories I could write about you.I wanted to write a Farther Day
poem but the memories just couldn't be put in a poem.Your love
for us showed in every thing you did. So these are some of good thing's
I remember about you daddy. There so many more about life
when I was young and we lived on a farm.
Happy Father's Day Daddy love You and mama
