BIRTHDAY BLESSINGS TO JANIE
 
I’m not into counting candles
 Or wondering what year
I prefer counting the blessings
Now that your birthday’s here
 
I’ll start with blessing number one
The day that you were born
God assembled all the angel choir
And Gabriel blew his horn
 
Each time He sends new souls to earth
There is a celebration
And every time He takes them back
It’s the same type jubilation
 
You were a blessing to your parents
Very welcomed to their world
 There is nothing much more sweeter
Than a bright-eyed baby girl
 
More blessings came with marriage
Your own family had begun
Life, itself, was filled with blessings
You could count them one by one
 
God blessed you with creative gifts…
Poured poetry in your soul…
And now you’re blessing others…
Attending to your given goal.
 
 View each birthday as a blessing
Life on earth is still a gift
And I hope this birthday greeting
Gives your heart a little lift.
 
You’re loved and appreciated
