The dust we kicked up in our youthful days
Now has settled around us in our old age
Thinking back to those times of fast living
Always running always taking never giving
As old age wraps its arms around us all
We should not fill our minds with despair
Now that Summers are over and we enter Fall
Hold tight all memory's handle them with care
For now we walk the same dusty path
For century's people have traveled
Some treading lightly on the footpath
Others carrying the weight of anvils
The paths may not be clear at times
With dark clouds by day and fog by night
Many miles and mountains to climb
As we enter into the years of twilight
Let the mind not stray for the route
Place all you have in the Lords trust
Walk the straight line throughout
Traveling through the swirling dust
