His Love Demonstrated
You seem a little bit perturb,
From the troubles that do disturb;
Down deep within your heart and mind,
With answers that are hard to find.
No man be moved by afflictions,
Developing from contradictions;
For we are destined to suffer,
Because life seems to get tougher.
The persecution in the heart,
Seems to be slicing it apart;
With making it feel even worse,
Like a disease or as a curse.
Even as the time seems to pass,
I look inside the hourglass;
Watching each of the grains of sand,
Falling slowly as God did plan.
Your faith should be urging us all,
Never to falter or to fall;
With all the trouble and distress,
By those things that try to oppress.
If your faith having any doubt,
Then search your love as to find out;
For your doubt should be wiped away,
If your faith and love did not stray.
You know not if the tempter strikes,
Insecure times is what he likes;
Those times when you do not feel sure,
Best time for him to set a lure.
So walk in the way of the Lord,
Demonstrated love not ignored;
Allow Christ in your heart to reign,
Your labor will not be in vain.
